La Leche League of Dunwoody, Georgia

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. If you are a woman interested in breastfeeding, La Leche League welcomes you. You need not be pregnant or have a family to attend La Leche League meetings. Any woman who hopes to have children, is a grandmother, or who wishes to find out more about breastfeeding is welcome. Those of you who are pregnant will find it most helpful to start the series of meetings before your baby arrives. Nursing babies and small children who would be unhappy away from their mother are encouraged to come along to meetings with their mothers.

La Leche League of Dunwoody offers support and information through:

  • Mother-to-Mother support
  • Monthly meetings
  • Telephone help from accredited Leaders
  • Lending library with books on childbirth, breastfeeding and related subjects
