Hi - Just a little update. I'm still working at Artech House Publications as the Business Manager, but manage to squeeze a full time job into roughtly 3.5 days so that I can spend more time at home with my 2 children. Margaret is almost 4 (June) and Jonathan will be 2 in August. Both are very active and fun, and definitely keep me on my toes! I recently had a mini reunion with 2 of my former roommates. Ann Phillips St Denis (plus husband Kevin and son Jason) visited Eileen Chi Stramaglia (and husband Steve and daughter Jessie) at their brand new home in Maynard, MA! It was great to see them, but we missed Karen! Hi everyone!

Thanks to Gwyneth for the newsletter. I am not a writer nor a phoner, but I do love e-mail. Having been gone from Colgate for ELEVEN years, I enjoy hearing about other sister's lives. I have been in Indianapolis, IN for four years after having earned my MBA from Indiana University. I work in business development for USA Group, primarily a student loan-related company. I have two wonderful little girls, Katie (3.5 yrs) and Hannah (21 mos). We live in the suburbs (translation cornfields) and love it! As for news from other sisters, my old roommates, Terri O'Connell Chemburkar and Ann Phillips St.Dennis are both expecting in the late summer. I heard that Amy Washburn is expecting also. Eileen Chi Stramaglia moved to the Boston vicinity a year ago and is teaching tennis to future Colgate applicants. That's it for now. Keep in touch!

Time for an update as my email address has changed. Thanks to everyone who continues to update their info with me. With all of us moving so often, it is hard to keep currrent! My daughter, Kendra, turned 1 in July and continues to keep us busy. I'm home with her which I feel really lucky to be able to do. I was wondering if anyone is involved in their alumnae club? I'm very involved in mine and this year I'm the editor of the newsletter. It is a lot of fun and I've met many great Pi Phis from all over the country. Everyone I talk to has such different college esperiences. It's fun to compare notes.

Hello NY Zeta! I'm happy to say that we (Jay & I) bought a house 3 months ago in Danbury CT. It's a 3 bedroom ranch with a livingroom, dining room (japanese stlye- no table!), den, kitchen (I even cook!) and a huge unfinished basement! I really love it. My free time is spent mowing the lawn (the lazy man's way- a rider mower... Jay does the real physical labor), making this house a home (i.e. hanging things on the walls... ) and plannign Alum club events. I am co-president of the Westchester County NY club.. do any of you remember those lovely wine and blue dishes we got at our installation? They came from Westchester! They are a really neat group of women... any of you who are living in Westchester please call me and get involved... we need some younger members to guarantee a strong future for our club. Vanessa Marolda Dioguardi is involved (She has a son- Jed jr. About 1 yr old) Sharon Klein Pogostin has popped in a few tiems (she has a son too, about the same age) and hopefully Julie Pendergast Clayton will join this year (she has a daughter- Kate - almost 1) Rumor has it Lisa Thompson is heading our way... I hope so.

I keep in touch with Melissa Andreana O'Donnell and hope to see her this summer. She is outside of Philadelphia doing the Pi Phi alum thing! I lost touch with Wendi Mayerson... anyone with an updated address please help me! I also speak with Michele Gurney Ollsson (Kappa Psi pledgemaster!!!) She has three adorable little boys and lives in Milford CT. bbie Wong is in Chicago still...and Kristine Olsevskis is in Latvia loving her job.. something with an airline company in their business dept. so she gets to travel all over for practically nothing! Not bad.

I went to convention in Atlanta.. let me tell you that NY ZETA has quite a reputation... we have some AAC members, lots of alum club representation, and national officers like Sis Mullis, Kay Brada, Jean Wirths Scott (the grand Poobah), Carolyn Helman Lichtenberg, etc. remember us fondly. I saw Lisa Masters- our 1st RGC - she looks exactly the same... she was on the nominating comm. so I didn't get to see her much, but she says hi. If anyone can remember the song we ed to make her sing...Something with "and if you heard what I just said get on your knees and bow your head" Please contact me... we were trying to remember it but you know how old minds are!!! I got to carry our banner for the prade of banners... CHILLS up & down my spine! I'll send a photo in when I get them back!

That's all for now.. please keep in touch. My Email will change soon but my current info is listed with Colgate. Take care! TTF

Just wanted to sign the guestbook with an update from Virginia. Our family is doing well and growing by leaps and bounds. I am expecting twins on September 14, 1999! That will make four kids for me...and my oldest will be four years old!! Yikes. I love my new job with HP in Contracts, although it is a little bit stressful at times. As I mentioned in my last correspondence, we are in the process of relocating...most likely to Upstate New York. I am in touch with Trish (McCarthy) Robitaille who is still in Tennessee and enjoys being a Mommy to Emma. I also hear from June (Raegner) Stanton regularly as well who just started her own business in New York, and is expecting her first baby in July of this year. Best regards to all!!

I just moved recently and went through a lot of college memorabilia. It reminded me again how lucky I was to have known such a great group of women.

I am living in downtown Atlanta and I am working as a credit analyst for a finance company. In my spare time, I am the Atlanta Alum Club of Pi Phi Young Alum Chair, program chair for the Italian Club of Atlanta, and active in the Young Careers of the High Museum of Art club. I have also joined a book club, and I can definitely recommend 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I now have dark blond, long curly hair -- if you can imagine! If anyone wants to visit Atlanta, you're more than welcome to stay at my place!

I'm still living in NH and loving it, got my MBA from UNH in 1993, worked for several catalog companies until I decided I don't like being bossed around so I opened up my own store called the Initial Shop, where everything is personalized. One of these days I will open a web site, when I get better at this internet thing! I still have Deus, my black cat from when we were at Colgate at 16 Pine St.(he's now 12!) I have a new edition to the feline family, Phoebe, who's a year old and replaces beautiful Cleo who disappeared last Halloween (we think a fishercat got her :( .......) I just recently got a new boyfriend who treats my like gold, unlike that last guy I was hooked on for six years and couldn't get unstuck (like a broken record). I see Sam Backus on a regular basis and am trying to convince her to get online so I can chat daily. I am looking for other NYZetas' email addresses to catch up with everyone (I asked Lindsay with help on that but haven't heard back yet). My house is always open to a NYZeta if you happen to be in NH and looking to enjoy the big lake.

My parents have been cleaning out their basement and handed over 6 or 7 photo albums to me, so I have been looking through all these pictures of my Colgate days and getting very nostalgic! There were pictures in there of every Pi Phi formal (I don't even remember some of my dates last names!), every Key & Cuff, lots of cookie shines, our Derby Days lip syncs, lots of breakfasts in the sorority house. Looking through them, I realized how much I missed everyone and the really good times we had together at school!

In any case, I have been meaning to sign onto this website for some time now, but have not had the chance. I spend my days now running around after my extremely active 16 month old son, Andrew. He honestly does not sit down all day long. I quit my job in corporate finance at Chase Manhattan Bank (a job that I'd had since graduation!) in Feb. '98 when Andrew was born, so I could hang out with him all day, and, for the most part, I've been very happy with that decision. My husband Greg works crazy hours as an investment banker with Salomon Smith Barney, and so I wanted Andrew to at least have me to look after him and make sure he grows up okay. Greg & I do try to go out on a date every Sat. night to reconnect with each other. We wholeheartedly believe in babysitters! We live in Larchmont, NY and I love it! The town is very friendly and I've met a lot of nice young moms with kids Andrew's age. Thank God for playgroups!

In order to keep my sanity, I finished my MBA, which I had almost completed (doing it part-time at NYU) when I was working. I'm also active in the Newcomer's Club (Treasurer for next year) and have just joined the Junior League of Westchester on the Sound. My placement for next year is "Kids On the Block" whereby we go into the elementary schools in the area and do puppet shows on violence, teen pregnancy, gangs, peer pressure, etc. I'm really looking forward to that!

I'd love to hear from any and all Pi Phis who I can share a laugh with me over some of these old photos and how much our lives have changed! Take care!

Hi all. Things have been going quickly over here. David and I are working on an addition to our house (it 's almost like building a new one!) Katie is growing by leaps and bounds. She 's 9 months old and already runs the place. I 'm working for the city of Westfield MA, doing computer support, trying to upgrade everything before the end of the year. Have to love working for local government.

Hello to all my sisters and friends! I just wanted to tell you all a little about what I have been doing. I left Colgate in 1991, graduated with a BA in English from Binghamton University, then went on to SUNY Cortland to become certified to teach K-6. And after all that, I work for Verizon as a customer service representative. I've been there for five years already. I own a home here in Binghamton where I live with my daughter Sabrina, who is 6 years old already, and my son Parker, who is 5. We also have a dog, a few cats, some fish, and a pair of gerbils. Although this dog is much friendlier than the one Espy will remember! I think often of the friends that I made at Pi Phi and hope that you all are well. Please feel free to e-mail me, as I would very much like to renew some old friendships. Take care! (Posted: 5 Jan 2003)
