Howdy y'all! Thanks for such a great response--it was wonderful to hear from so many of you. This time I'll start with the NYwZ and leave all of the "editor's comments" to the end.
Traci Searing Apthorpe '89 writes that after Colgate she lived in D.C. for a year training for disability sales with Unum Insurance Company. While in D.C. she lived with Carolyn McQuade '88 and then Peggy Schmidt '88 and had a great time hanging out with lots of fellow New York Zetas. She was then relocated to Cincinnati where she saw Melanie Sargent. In the fall of 1992, she moved yet again; this time to her hometown of Rochester, NY. Sadly, her father was diagnosed with cancer at that time, and he passed away in June of 1993. She is currently employed at a PR/Advertising firm in Rochester. Traci got engaged in June of 1994 and was married in December of that year. She and her husband Bret, Mr. "Tool Time" himself, bought a house with lots of potential just south of Rochester this past May AND their son Jake was born on June 19, 1995. Updates on other sisters: Heather Barabba '89 is teaching outside of Syracuse and is married, Wendy Knudsen '89 is a lawyer in Boston, Julie Rosenbaum '90 has one more year of law school in Boston, Vivi Kalapoutis had little girl about 2 years ago, and Maria Grasso is working on her Masters in Education for high school math.
Samantha Backus '91 writes from Chicago where she continues to work for Sears. She attended Lisa Thompson's '91 wedding (which she raves about), where she stayed with Julie Pendergast Clayton '90. Irm Raja Bellavia '91 and her husband Ross were there as well. Irm was a bridesmaid and looked great. Lisa also had brunch with Dawn Besculides '90 and her husband Eric Goldstein who were just back from their European honeymoon. As for life on the homefront, Sam and her cats are getting ready for a cold Chicago winter--but she'll get to travel to LA and Boston for her work.
Lori Bronstein '93 writes that after graduation, she student taught, and in the summer of 1994 landed a job teaching at Chatham High School in Chatham, NJ, where she's been teaching biology and chemistry. She spent the past summer writing her master's thesis and received her Master of Arts in Teaching in October. Lori also writes she is engaged to Marc Gironda (Colgate '94), and they will be married in July of 1996. As of now they live in their respective parents' homes (in the same town) and plan on staying in the area. Marc is working on a doctorate in school and community psychology at Pace University in Manhattan.
Lori Durig '92 is working for BMG Entertainment in NYC as a manager of business analysis Previously she had worked for EMI Records Group North America as a Business Systems Analyst and spent a lot of time in the LA/Hollywood area working at Capitol Records. She is currently in school for an MS in Telecommunications and plans to finish this coming summer. Lori is also is involved with the Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation (HOBY), which is a leadership seminar for HS sophomores. The committee has many social activities, and if anyone is interested, contact her. She'd also like to arrange a mini-reunion in the NYC area one night after work, so call her at (212) 930-6618 (W), and she'll arrange something. She writes that Patti Hennessy '94 works for a bank in Maryland. Lori and Patti went to see the Mike and Maty show in LA; Mike, Maty and Lori go way back, and Lori ended up with the mic in her hand!
Deborah Enea I can only quote: "went to grad school, won the Rome prize, lived in Rome for four months, returned to the states, bought a 71 Karmann Ghia convertible, fell in love, got my MA in Art History, worked in an art gallery, and most recently was the director of an art fair and exhibit at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City." As she explains it, it was the largest virtual art fair in NYC--the 20 NYC and London galleries showed their work on CD-ROM. She go to work with lots of cool critics, dealers and curators. She is currently running an art gallery with her brother. She taught a class this past semester, but hates giving bad grades....
Kelly Frazier '90 graduated from Albany Law School in May of 1993, passed her bars, and now works in the legal services division of the New York State Legislative Bill drafting commission. She has been seeing Todd Stewart (Univ. of Colorado-Boulder '91) for over four years now. She also has a cat, Fifi, and a beautiful Siberian Husky named Tara who lives with Todd. She also enjoys hiking and boating in the summer and skiing in the winter. Kelly also requested that I retract the story of her drinking a beer in a health club. "Beer is evil--it was likely wine or rum!"
Kim Kramer Ganz '87 writes that she can't find the Snoopy cartoons (see the last newsletter). Her children are: Alexis, three and a half, and Zachary, 5 weeks old (at the time she wrote me). She received her Masters in Occupational Health and is at Chubb at their NJ headquarters as the Corporate Risk and Safety Manager. Lindsay Youker Levy just enjoyed a weekend with Rochelle Ruffer and family. Rochelle's baby, Nathaniel, is 6 months old, adorable, and well-behaved. Lindsay is also having fun helping Nancy Wemmerus '90 prepare for her upcoming wedding in which Kathy Reister is going to be a bridesmaid.
Kelli Liccini '93 is in Boston working for Andersen Consulting where she is learning about client/server computer systems. She is seeing a guy she met at work (same company, but they don't work together) who went to Bucknell and used to play rugby. At Jessica Loomer Holmes's wedding she saw Lisa Natkin, Michelle Farrance, and Elissa Haney. She also sees Jenn Fedin in Boston; Jenn helped Kelli put together some bookshelves and was "psyched" to get out her tools. Kelli says that Regina Regazzi is in California going to business school at UCLA.
Laura Lutz is engaged to be married to Mike, who got a job with Disney Feature Animation Studios. Thus he's now in Burbank, CA, and Laura is hoping to follow him in May (from Phoenix). She's looking for a job in either the publishing field or in production support work for movies or television in the northern LA area. Anyone have ideas or contacts? Her kitty Murphy is doing well, and she and Mike hope to get a second cat to keep Murphy company once they're together in Valencia, CA. She took two classes this past fall, a management course on human relations and conversational Chinese.
Jennifer Minnerly is in the second and final year of her masters program in counseling psychology at BC. She has a job in a residential treatment program for emotionally disturbed children; it's tough, but she loves it. After graduation in May, she plans on moving to DC where her boyfriend is in his first year of law school at Georgetown. If anyone knows of job opportunities in counseling in the DC area, let her know!
Katherine Beckenbach Mon\'{e} '92 and her husband Eric recently purchased a new condo in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. Eric has a new job with G.E. Lighting, and Kate is on the interview circuit looking for a job that offers room for growth. They have a goofy chocolate lab, and Melissa teaches aerobics but doesn't get to ski too much. Amy Tobin Morales '89 was in her wedding and lives in Wynnewood, PA. Amy is married to Keith and works for the National Board of Medical Examiners as an editor in Philly. Amy and Keith have two cats: George and Kramer. Rejean and Christina live in Newton, MA, and would love to hear from Boston NYZetas (617) 332-8846 (H). She works for Brodeur \& Partners, a public relations firm, and specializes in health care public relations. Reggie is an actuary with Blue Cross Blue Sheild and has finished 75\% of his actuarial fellowship exams so far. Christina writes that Colgate is as beautiful as ever--even with all the new construction! And for anyone who is a golfer, the golf course is as great as ever!
Julie Roseboom '92 is working for the Otsego County Treasurer's Office in accounting. She and Joe are living in Oneonta, NY, right now, and Julie may be attending graduate school for Guidance Counseling in SUNY Oneonta next fall. Their baby Katie is growing fast and is wonderful and beautiful, as Lisa Petronella Shock will testify. Julie, Joe, and Katie went to see Traci Anderson and Tracey Lewis in Boston and got a private tour of the Massachusetts State House and the rest of Boston.
Rochelle Ruffer writes from Youngstown, OH, where she, her husband, Tom, and their new son, Nathaniel, are settling into their new house. Rochelle is teaching in the Economics Department at Youngstown State University this semester. Nathaniel is a very happy baby, smiling and cooing up a storm.

Lauren saw both of them and Ria Gazdar at Leslie Crane's December 2nd wedding to Michael Bruder (they went to Hawaii on their honeymoon). Lauren also sees Elissa Haney in NYC on occasion.
Deborah Smith '87 is living in Glen Clove, NY, and works as the Marketing Manager for a small software company on Long Island. Although still single, she's trying to change that. She is the proud mother of Shadow, a 5 year old female beagle, and Nico, a 6 month old kitty. (Special note to all members of the class of 1987: I miss you guys, and I regret having been so out of touch for so long....We've got some catching up to do!)

My notes:
Cash donations 219.80
Stamp donations 31.68
Total donations 251.48
Postage costs 113.28
Other costs 78.37
Total costs 191.65
This leaves about $60 for this mailing (which should
cost around $80). So I'm not going into debt over this project,
nor is it a money making enterprise. But please keep the stamps
coming!
As for me, life in Houston isn't very exciting. Rob and I are both still working on our doctorates, and he should graduate this May. We'll probably be moving to the DC area in August, since he has tenatively accepted a postdoctoral position at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. I will most likely work on my dissertation over the 'Net. Our kitty is as sweet and stupid as ever...We'll be headed to Rhode Island in May for Rob's brother's wedding, so I may get to see some of you then!
