Read and respond to your baby's cues.

Remaining open and responsive to your baby is important in developing a secure attachment between you. A baby cries for a reason, not to manipulate. The faster you respond to your baby, the greater the trusting bond will be.

Along with breastfeeding, wearing your baby, and sleeping near you baby, being able to respond to you baby may be made easier by hiring a postpartum doula.
